Six Melts on One Bus

The wiring is the ornament: one checkerboard bus holding six spheres of molten metal in free fall.

Inside the cells, drawn in fine green and black outline, six stages of a melt: a faceted cold scrap, the same scrap glowing, a free-floating gold sphere of molten metal cradled by open coil arcs and ringed with short heat strokes, that sphere drawn through a die into a ribbon between two rollers, a molten slug pressed flat between two field plates, and a finished cross-braced truss with one end still warm. Tiny gold droplets drift loose in every cell. Two suited crew in deep green, their torsos made of checkerboard squares cut from the same lattice as the border, work at the return bus below, boots hooked under a restraint rail, beside a spool of ribbon and a finished truss floating free. A row of viewports along the top shows the limb of a green world. Purely procedural geometry; no text; nothing shown exists.
