Ancient Ice Becomes Fuel, Second Watch

A hot drill turns comet ice into a captured stream.

An artistic imagining, not real hardware. A square graphic illustration shows how a hot drill turns comet ice into a captured stream, with one monumental apparatus dominating a dark field; a cyan energy path enters the machine and a warm changed output leaves it. No text or insignia appears.
An artistic imagining, not existing hardware. The scene reduces the system to one readable conversion: a hot drill turns comet ice into a captured stream. The installation and setting are speculative. Image: poweringspace.com. Artistic imagining.
