An artistic imagining, not real hardware - nothing shown here exists. Flat two-colour composition on an ivory field: nine full-width shelves of stylised crops, one above another, each rank standing on a thin tray bar with a row of short dashed lamp bars slung beneath the tray above it. The crops are domed heads on narrow flared stems, and the gap between any two neighbouring crops is itself a spoon - an oval bowl laid face-down on the tray with a tapered handle rising past the canopy. A single wide vertical bar runs the full height of the image on the centre line. Across a tall pointed oval at the centre of the picture, the size of a leaf or a seed and about nine decks tall, the two colours are exchanged: inside it the field is green and the crops, trays, lamps and central bar are ivory, while outside it the field is ivory and those same shapes are green. The pattern continues unbroken across the oval's edge, which is drawn nowhere and exists only as that reversal, so individual crops are cut in half by it, green on one side and ivory on the other. 2026-07-28 A Leaf Nine Decks Tall

Abstract letterpress-style composition on toothy mid-brown paper, built entirely from stamped geometric printing blocks with visible grain and misregistration. A vertical stack of three large dark rings, each partly filled with a blue-gray halftone dot screen, forms a depot spine with two dotted ochre solar-panel bars. Scattered rocket-like clusters of bars, triangles, discs and rings read as ships: some struck densely in rust and umber with dotted slate tank windows, others only as dry cream ghost impressions. A dark roller bar with two cream ring hubs presses across one ship, trailing streaked drag lines, while a wobbling row of small slate and rust squares walks from the depot to that ship. Flat-plane poster in exactly five inks on a near-black starfield: one monumental flame-form - nested tongues of vermilion, gold and cream - leaps up and to the left from a gold radiator comb with vermilion fins, framed by a huge dark-ember backdrop disc. Two smaller flame-tongues flank the leap. From the main tongue's tip an arc of round discs curves up and over to the right, cooling step by step as it goes: cream-cored gold discs, then plain gold, then vermilion, then hollow vermilion and dark-ember rings, with small diamond sparks scattered along the trail and thin ember ripple-arcs where the last, coldest ring fades into the sky. Below, a curved dark-red night-side limb of Mercury carries black crater shadows, a vermilion feed duct, and two distant silhouetted fin towers. Flat-plane poster on a light warm-paper field ruled with a fine pale-blue 24-by-24 grid: a serene face in the manner of a Japanese woodblock portrait, built entirely from circles and axis-aligned rectangles in blues. Deep indigo rectangles and a half-disc crown form night-sky hair dotted with six tiny paper-white circle stars; the face is vertical flat bands of pale and powder blue with two closed-eye indigo bars, a powder cheek circle, and a single small vermilion circle mouth - the only red in the image. Where an ear would be, a large concentric-ring target of ultramarine, cerulean and indigo reads as a radio dish. Below a dark collar, an oversized rectangle of traditional seigaiha wave-crest pattern in three blues spreads wider than the figure, like a kimono made of sky. One colossal storage flywheel fills the middle of the square as if pasted in close-up: a machined disc seen face-on, its hub a sharp bright boss with a black bore at the exact center, concentric turned rings stepping outward, a shadowed recess and a bright machined band at the rim, and a hard cut-out contour with a soft airbrushed drop shadow behind it. Every surface mark is smeared into a circular arc about the hub, the smear growing longer with radius until near the rim the bolt circles, vent slots and balance marks dissolve into pure rings of light; a faint streak halo bleeds just outside the edge. On a luminous near-white field, four round aerostat hulls climb a steep diagonal from the lower left to the upper right, growing larger as they come: a violet one at the bottom edge, then three in deepening magenta and wine. Each hull carries a dark aubergine collector bar across its crown, hangs a small trapezoid gondola on two thin struts, and trails two pale ghosted copies of itself upwind, as though caught mid-drift. Sagging cables run hull to hull in three overprinted ribbons - violet, dark plum, and magenta - arriving from off the frame at the lower left and continuing past the last hull as a single magenta band that ends in a sharp arrowhead aimed out of the upper-right corner, a soft rose echo of the arrowhead trailing behind it. Along each cable a train of small dark chevrons runs uphill, packed tight at the start of every span and opening into longer strides toward its end. Abstract dark-cyan composition, no real hardware depicted: an 11-by-11 grid of translucent square panes floats on a near-black blue field, each pane holding faint concentric rings like a relay aperture. Most panes hang deep in the picture - small, dim, heavily blurred, joined by ghostly orthogonal grid lines and a mist of tiny node dots. An open-end wrench grips the bolt, its shaft running down the frame's main diagonal into a huge silhouetted gauntlet fist, and the massive banded forearm enters from the lower-right corner. Low in the frame a rising sun of concentric rings - near-white center, hot magenta, vermilion, and a thin gold ring - anchors thirty-six rays of magenta and violet dots that fan to every edge, near-solid ink at the core and dissolving to sparse grain in the dark corners. Flat-plane toy-poster scene on a mid-value warm clay field crossed by faint diagonal rays: a dozen mechanical marionette figures - cream disc heads, funnel hats, vermilion and tangerine trapezoid torsos, jointed black bar arms - hang on thin strings from beyond the top of the frame, scattered across the square with no central figure.
